2026 Nominations

Yap Films is proud to announce that we’ve been nominated for the Rockie Awards, the Yorkton Film Festival, and the Canadian Screen Awards! We’re also honoured to be featured in Playback’s coverage of this year’s Rockie Awards nominees. Let’s round up the nominations:

Secrets of the Bunny Ranch was nominated for a Rockie Award in the category of Crime & Investigation, and a Yorkton Award in the category of Factual Documentary Series. Irresistible: Why We Can’t Stop Eating was nominated for a Yorkton Award in the category of Documentary Social/Political.

Our very own CCO Elizabeth Trojian was nominated for 2 Canadian Screen Awards: Best Direction, Documentary Series and Best Writing, Documentary; both awards are for her work on Foodspiracy.
